Bike Tours

Discover Athens like a local! There is much to see in a great city like Athens! The Dutch Cortina bikes are ideal for you to enjoy a relaxed bike tour along the scenic sights of Greece. Not only do you get to dash past its unmissable landmarks. You will also discover some of the more hidden, personal gems the experienced Dutch guides have to offer. Tours are provided in English, German & Dutch.

Highlights tour

During the Highlights of Athens bike tour, you are taken on a beautiful and safe route that passes by the most noteworthy points in the city. The route passes through the charming districts of Psiri, Plaka and Monastiraki, among others. You visit the central market and stop to take photos of the most important highlights of Athens. As part of the tour, you ride past the Acropolis, the Panathenaic Stadium and through the National Gardens.

Alternative Athens tour

This is the ideal route for adventurers who have visited the city before and want to experience Athens beyond the tourist attractions. Be surprised with this alternative tour! Forget about the famous highlights in the historic center for once and explore the areas that show a different side of Athens. Visit traditional Greek deli shops and taste loukoumades. Cycle through the classy neighborhood of Kolonaki,moving on to the trendy nightlife district of Gkazi and enjoy the view from the Philopappos hill.

Coastline tour

Have you already seen the highlights of Athens or do you want to escape the bustle of the city center? With this 3.5 hour tour you cycle from the center to the coast. On the way, stop at the cultural center of the Stavros Niarchos foundation. Here, take a short walk to the roof for some breathtaking views of the city and the coastline. After that cycle via a wide bridge to the coast and visit the Marina Flisvos. This bike tour is ideal if you have been in Athens for a few days, or have even been there several times. The tour can also be booked as a private tour, so you can be sure that you will only cycle with your friends or family.

Ride & Bite tour

This tour is the perfect one for the real foodies among you. In 3 hours you cycle at an easy pace around the central market and the neighborhoods of Kolonaki, Plaka and Monastiraki. After a short ride you make a stop at a food warehouse in the upscale neighborhood of Kolonaki. Here you get an introduction and tasting of traditional Greek products such as olives, feta cheese, honey, olive oil and vinegar. Continue your ride passing from Syntagma sq. before heading to the lovely Plaka neighborhood. In a cozy mezedopolio the table will be full of mezedes to try, accompanied with a good glass of Greek wine. Mezedes are the Greek tapas and an important part of Greek cuisine. The last stop will be at the trendy square of Agia Eirini for delicious loukoumades dessert. In between the food stops you’ll be given interesting information about the city of Athens and Greek culture. At the end of the tour you will be well aware of all the good things Athens has to offer.

At L’Avventura, health always comes first. In addition to the high standard cleaning processes we already perform, we have taken additional precautionary measures, following all health and safety guidelines by the WHO and the National Public Health Organization.

The most important addition to our safety plan is L’Avventura’s partnership with our Healthcare Provider which protects both our customers and our team through a number of different COVID-19 prevention and treatment levels.

Among other things, the collaboration includes:

  • Possibility of testing for the COVID-19 virus with the use of molecular tests (PCR TEST) and/or rapid tests, on site.
  • 24/7 doctor on site availability: A doctor can arrive at the hotel within 45’ approximately regarding any staff or guest medical need.
  • 24/7 access to our Healthcare Provider Call Center, for any kind of medical support and for the coordination of required actions.
  • Hotel staff training regarding the current health measures and contributing to the hotel’s final health protocols.

Some of our additional, on-site safety operations include:

  • Hand washing and sanitation of our staff members
  • Daily sanitation of all common areas
  • Special training for COVID-19 health and safety measures to all our staff
  • Rooms thoroughly sanitized by our experienced Housekeepers
  • Longer period of time between check out and check in
  • Offering disinfectant dispensers in public areas
  • Advising our guests to keep a distance of two (2) meters from the person next in line while approaching any indoors help-desk
  • HEALTH FIRST certificate
  • Frequently monitoring and adhering to the latest information, protocols and tools from the authorities

Moreover, please note that our team members are trained to handle situations that may occur at our hotel and we have confidence in their abilities. Our efforts are focused on providing you a safe and enjoyable stay at L’Avventura. We will be operating as normal, and with safety as our main priority and we will be taking every precaution in order for our guests to feel safe while staying with us.

Understanding the uncertainty that still runs this period, we have stretched the flexibility for all future reservations. Therefore, we now offer a fully flexible option for all reservations with 24 hours before check in date cancellation window. Nevertheless, if you still need an even better rate, you may find our non-refundable options.

Seize the opportunity to enjoy a very special morning time in Zampano, one of the best places in Athens for breakfast and brunch, at only 4 minutes walking distance! Do not hesitate about a second, the space is Covid-free and staff is fully vaccinated.
